What we want to do
The Berlin Democracy Initiative e.V. is a hybrid initiative that brings together exiled journalists in Germany through community – based support, operating in the fields of media freedom, monitoring human rights violations, and investigative journalism.
This organization, created by exiled journalists, is based on the principle of peer-to-peer support, offering current colleagues going through this process an opportunity to exchange experiences and raising awareness about their situation.
This awareness is raised through the organization’s publications – research, monitoring, panel discussions, workshops, and networking meetings.
